New Mahindra Cars

Till date, Mahindra had only one petrol model that was the KUV 100. With the launch of the newer versions of the Mahindra cars, the company has announced its plans of introducing petrol versions for all segments of their cars which includes the Mahindra Scorpio to start with.  Featuring a 2.2 litre MPFI engine, the car is expected to have competitive pricing owing to its in-house manufacturing of engines. The gasoline motor is capable of producing a maximum power of 140bhp and 280Nm of torque.

Mahindra XUV 500

Apart from introducing the petrol version of the Scorpio, the company will also be launching a petrol Mahindra XUV 500 powered by the similar 2.2litre MPFI engine. The XUV 500 has witnessed much popularity among SUV buyers in India and with the launch of the petrol version of this car, the company expects a further reach and share in the Indian market. Owing to a ban in Delhi NCR of diesel cars above 2000cc, the XUV 500 was relaunched with a 1.99 litre engine offering no change as such other than being a downsized version of the 2.2 litre mHAWK engine. Colours available for this model include orange, white, purple, silver, red, grey and black. The 2016 version is expected to also receive some cosmetic updates that will enhance its overall appeal.

Mahindra Nuvo Sport

The Nuvo Sport with its revised styling and SUV type look is expected to give stiff competition to its rivals like the Ford EcoSport or the Renault Duster and even the Nissan Terrano. Pirced betweek the Mahindra KUV100 and TUV300, the compact SUV car looks sporty and refreshing in design. The car offers a similar 1.5 litre 3cylinder mHAWK diesel engine and is available in two driving modes that include the Power mode and Economy mode. In Economy mode, the car is capable of producing 71.6bhp of power at 3250rpm torque. As per Mahindra ARAI certified claims, the Nuvo Sport offers a fuel efficiency of 17.45kmpl.

Mahindra KUV 100

The car offers 4 variants with the basic one offering tilt adjustable power steering, manual air conditioning with heater, engine immobilizer, 14-inch wheels with arm rest for drivers and gear indicator. Used Cars in Hyderabad

Used cars in Hyderabad

The demand for pre-owned cars is hitting an all-time high. It reached a record-breaking point last year, as the researches by CRISIL point out. Companies in the pre-owned car market are witnessing growth like never before, courtesy the growing aspirations of consumers, manufacturer-backed offers and exponential growth in the e-commerce space. Till a few years back, the ratio of new to used cars was 1:1.2. This has now grown to be 1:2.2, according to the reports of CRISIL. This implies that for every 10 new cars sold, 22 used cars are finding buyers. It is interesting to note that with steady decline in the holding period of a vehicle from six years to three years, there has been a significant increase in the supply of used cars. Market watchers have also asserted that the new passenger vehicle market is set to close at 2.8 million units this year.
A study by a renowned car portal has recently revealed that about 80% of the used cars in Hyderabad comprise compact cars and hatchback. It is noteworthy that white and silver are the most preferred colour shades amongst the people who seek to buy a second hand car. The top 3 car models which are the most popular amongst used cars in Hyderabad are as follows:

1. Volkswagen Polo : It is one of the main cars that this German company has launched in India to retain its market share here. The makers have endowed the new version of Polo with some upgrades that mostly cater to its interiors. One can hardly deny that the Polo has an extremely stylish and modern edge to it. Owing to its contemporary looks, it is arguably the most sought-after hatchback vehicle. It is also a highly preferred one amongst used car buyers.

2. Hyundai i10 : A relatively smaller hatchback, it has managed to make a stir owing to its looks and affordability. It flaunts an aesthetic design that gives it a solid upper edge in the entry level segment in the country. It looks compact from the outside, but the elegant designs in the interior offer ample space to fit in 4 adults comfortably. This car is also known to offer great fuel efficiency and has thus, remained a favourite over the years.

3. Toyota Etios Liva : This hatchback model has been built based on the Etios sedan and it shares most of its parts with the sedan. Launched in India by Toyota in December 2010, it was followed by the launch of the Liva hatchback in June 2011 for the Indian market. Ever since its release, the company did not introduce any changes to the hatchback until October 2014, when minor cosmetic upgrades were introduced.

With the Indian automobile market brimming with different car brands, it indeed becomes a difficult choice to zero in on one. And as more cars are being added every month to tap the potential of the growing market in India, consequently, the second hand car market is also growing in tandem. And, Hyderabad is no exception. Apart from these, there are also many other options which you can explore.

Used cars in Delhi

Used cars in Delhi

There are a list of things you should keep in mind, before buying used cars in Delhi. First and foremost, once you decide on the price range, you should outline what sort of car best meets your needs. For example, if you are a family of two, there is no need to go for a large MUV, like the Toyota Innova. With a growing range of makes and models, there will be a number of car models that will fit your budget. With a little research and some consultations with well-informed acquaintances, you can easily figure out which car model you should zero in on. Diesel cars sell well on the second hand market.
According to Rajeev Dubey, group president and chief executive officer at Mahindra & Mahindra, the average holding period has decreased from five to six years earlier, to three years in today’s times. With the rise in per capita incomes, more and more people will explore the proposition of buying a used car once they, irrespective of whether it is their first car or not.
Reliability should be high on the checklist. You can look up the quality ratings of each car that you have shortlisted. Many sites offer a comprehensive databank and archive of user reviews that will facilitate your decision. It should always be remembered that a car that wasn’t reliable new won’t be reliable used. The best sources to see which used cars in Delhi are available include, the Internet, used car dealers, brokers, authorized dealers, newspaper ads, and personal referrals. It is usually a good idea to interact directly with the previous owner, so the Internet and print classifieds are great sources of good deals on used cars.
There has been a phenomenal growth in the used car market spurred by the growing aspirations of the middle class and the dream of owning a car. While the organized trade accounts for 20% of the total volume of sales, the unorganized trade accounts for the remaining 80%. As the latest figures suggest, the ratio of new to used car sale in India is 1:1.2, while in the US it is 1:2.5. According to the recent estimates provided by dealers in the used car market, nearly 400 used cars are sold every month in Vizag city, out of which Maruti True Value sells 35 cars, Mahindra 28 to 30 and the remaining transaction happens in the unorganized trade. What is thus, good news to the used car market, will not bode too well for the automobile makers. Also, make sure that the car you’ve set your mind on has not been repossessed by a finance company. Otherwise it will be difficult to procure the Certificate of Registration and the original owner may create trouble for you even if you manage to get the car transferred to your name. You can also Google the top selling used cars in Delhi that enjoy the maximum popularity in the pre-owned cars’ market in the capital city.
