impeccable and it is their duty to fulfill each and every customer
need by paying attention to even the tiniest of details. The company
has launched several cars in India and some of these are bound to
catch your attention with ease.
NissanMicra Active- The Micra Active is a relatively new launch inspired by
the regular Micra hatchback which is revered for its looks and
attractive styling. The Micra Active has several changes and
modifications including the wide and huge bumper which distinguishes
it from its regular sibling. The hatchback comes with a petrol engine
that promises ARAI certified fuel economy of 19.49 kilometres per
litre. This model has numerous safety features including airbags, ABS
with EBD and a lot more. The interiors get the dark grey treatment
instead of the somewhat monotonous beige of the earlier version. The
exterior has rounded edges for a more feminine look while prices
hover between INR 4-5 lakhs. This is one of the most stylish and
feature packed hatchbacks in its class.
Face
lifted Nissan Sunny- The Sunny is a popular sedan in the mid size
segment and comes with boomerang design headlights in addition to
several other cosmetic changes. Apart from the more aggressive and
bigger headlights, the bumper gets chrome inserts while there is a
glossy finish for the shiny black central console inside. The chrome
insert also gives this a more premium appeal of its own. The fog
lamps look nice outside while the steering wheel is a multifunctional
three spoke marvel. The AC vents have also been revamped a little.
There is a 1.5 litre petrol motor which dishes out 98 BHP and 134 Nm
while the 1.5 litre diesel engine makes 200 Nm and 85 BHP. Prices
hover between INR 7-10 lakhs for the new Sunny. The upgraded Sunny
has managed to lure buyers with its size, features and attractive
design. It is undoubtedly one of the finest luxury sedans we have in
the Indian market today. The Sunny is hugely spacious and offers
ample rear space for occupants. It is in fact one of the most
spacious cars in its class and the competitive price point makes it a
complete package for prospective sedan buyers as well.
Nissan
is targeting 5% share of the Indian car market by the year 2020 in
partnership with its low cost car subsidiary Datsun. Going by the
sheer beauty and functionality of its products in India and their
popularity, the brand looks well on course to achieve its target
without any hiccups.
